SoulmobileOn December 9th, starting at 6:30 PM, Mountain City Traditional Arts will host a special concert event featuring Jon Felton's Soulmobile and Kenny Tompkins. The acoustic, all-ages event will be the record release party for new CDs from both Frostburg-based acts.

Soulmobile will be performing songs from their new record Life Everlasting, a record which utilizes the traditional instruments of the Applachian region to craft catchy and spiritually-contemplative acoustic pop. Tompkins will be performing an acoustic set of songs from his new record Motorcar, released under the moniker New God. Tompkins recent work has seen him exploring experimental textures and indie-pop melodies.

Guests are encouraged to come ready for fellowship and "the breaking of bread," says Felton. The family-friendly music event is free and open to the public. Mountain City Traditional Arts is located on 25 East Main Street in Frostburg, Maryland. For more information call 301-687-8040.
