Many of the region's residents are making it a short work week and looking forward to enjoying a fun filled weekend of DelFest at the Allegany Fairgrounds in Cumberland. While festival regulars delight in sharing harrowing stories of storms and cloud bursts that have added to the Festival's character in past years, this weekend's forecast promises sunny days and blue skies. So DelFest goers, the AppIndie invites you to be our eyes and ears on site. Send us your stories, photos, and reviews. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This year's lineup includes the festival's namesake and headliner legendary Del McCoury, Trey Anastasio Band, Old Crow Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band, Trampled By Turtles, Leftover Salmon, an All Star set dubbed the Masters of Bluegrass pairing Del with other luminaries Bobby Osborne, J.D. Crowe, Bobby Hicks, and Jerry McCoury, and much more.

In addition to 4 days and nights of nonstop music, many attendees will be taking advantage on-site camping, artist playshops, a kids activity area, an arts and craft faire and access to plenty of food and beverage vendors.
