The latest Cotton Jones album, Tall Hours In The Glowstream is a great pop album full of warm melodic soundscapes and rich harmonies. It was released August 24, 2010 - soon after the band’s recent tour ended.
Tall Hours In The Glowstream is the Cumberland natives’ third release – their second release on the Seattle-based record label Suicide Squeeze Records. The album was recorded in Cumberland, MD; Winterville, GA; and Fenwick Island, DE.
According to the band’s website, The Glowstream is a stream with a dead-end that is “centered between North and South Cumberland” and is near that section of Cumberland where one can see the church steeples and I-68. It’s a thinking spot with shade and a good view of the Queen City.
