· Wonderful Wednesday Free Demonstrations at The Gallery Shop featuring Ginni Neff demonstrating the art of stained glass making. 12-2pm. 206 E. Alder Street, Oakland. Presented by the Garrett County Arts Council with support from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Civic Club of Oakland. · Starting Sunday, July 5: Chautauqua history alive! Civil rights remembered through the eyes of Jackie Robinson, Woodie Guthrie and Eleanor Roosevelt. Wednesday features Garrett County's Joanna Guy as Alice Paul. Garrett College Lawn, McHenry. Local acts begin at 7:00pm; history performance starts at 7:30pm. Free for all ages (donations invited).
