Activities for Life at FSU will offer water aerobics on Tuesdays and Thursdays, November 8 through November 17 and November 29 through December 15, from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m., at the FSU pool. The class is taught by Sierra Wassell and is geared toward those who want to increase cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and body strength. Water aerobics creates good muscle balance, making the muscles limber and strong, and it is the perfect activity for those with painful joints or other movement limitations. Participants may register for the Tuesday or Thursday class, or both nights for a discounted price.

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will also offer youth swimming lessons for children ages 4 to 13 on Mondays and Wednesdays, November 14, 16, 28 and 30 and December 5 and 7. The classes will be from 6:00 to 6:50 p.m. in the FSU Pool in the Cordts Physical Education Center. Youth swimming instruction is separated into skill levels based on the child’s swimming ability coming into class.
