Rick Rando

Frostburg State University’s College of Business will host FSU alum and empowerment speaker Master Rick Rando in a presentation titled “Leadership With a Kick” on Tuesday, March 10, at 5 p.m. in room 397 of FSU’s Gira Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Experienced in entrepreneurship and focused team building, Rando has conducted thousands of presentations on character and leadership development in the business community. He has worked exclusively with notable companies such as NiSource, Hunter Douglas, Cintas, Charm City Cakes and Chick-fil-A.

Rando is also one of the youngest 7th degree black belts in the world and was recently inducted into the U.S. Martial Artist Association Hall of Fame. He’s been a successful business owner for the past 20 years, manages a staff of more than 70 and owns one of the largest, open-spaced martial arts studios in the country.

A marathon runner and philanthropist, Rando was just awarded the Community Leadership Award from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.

This event was organized by the FSU College of Business’ Center for Regional Engagement and Economic Development, with a generous contribution from First Peoples Community Federal Credit Union.
